DGPC (free translation: Directorate-General for Crop Protection) is an administratively autonomous organisation responsible for defining a protection policy that is effective, appropriate and adjusted to the national conditions. DGPC ensures the phytosanitary control of vegetables and vegetable products and homologates phytopharmaceutical products taking into account their impact on public health and the environment. Moreover, it also certifies seeds and material for vegetative propagation.
