In 2011 Angola imported around 4.2 million litres of wine from Portugal's Alentejo region, which almost doubled the amount imported within a year, Maria Amélia Vaz da Silva, of the Alentejo Vinegrowing Commission (CVRA), told Angolan daily newspaper O País.
