Ageing |
Bunches harvested manually and submitted to selection at the vineyard and winery. After destemming, the grapes were subjected to steeping, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation took place in new French oak barrels followed by aging for 10 months. Only the best barrels formed part of the final batch which aged in the bottle for 15 months until attaining the desired harmony. |

As a whole it is smooth on the palate with excellent acidity, tannins which are consistent but very velvety and elegant and a long, irreverent and very challenging after taste. |
